Hannah Catchlove.
Graphic Design graduate.

Firstly, yes my last name is Catchlove. FYI it means wolf catcher in French.
I like traditional techniques combined with modern ones.
I love scanning stuff. I have a particular interest in typography and have a passion for reading.
I use this blog as a source of inspiration, as well as occasionally posting my own creative thinking, work and experiments.
To be perfectly honest, I just like making things.

    Jezreel Temple/Tower, Gillingham

This fascinating building was built by James Roland White in the 1880’s and sadly demolished in 1961 but existed very close to where I live.
His plan was to build a giant cube-shaped bui
lding based on the biblical passage Revelation xxi, 16: “And the city lieth foursquare, and the length thereof is as great as the breadth … the length and the breadth and the height thereof are equal.” It was to be fireproof so that his followers could withstand the flames of the last judgement.

James was a big drinker and in 1912 when the building was acquired by the local council, 5 lorry loads of booze was carried from the temple. (Descriptions from Chris DE C B)
